What amenities are in the village? There is a fabulous coffee and cake shop directly below the apartment with indoor and outdoor seating. There is a bar on the other side of the piazza. Visgnola also has a grocery store, 3 restaurants & a tobacconist.
Do I need a car? YES. I strongly suggest you arrive by car as the apartment is 2km uphill from the lake. If you love walking and don't mind hills, then a car isn't strictly necessary. However, public transport to and from the centre of Bellagio is extremely limited.
Is parking available? YES. There is free parking in the large village car park only 30 metres away.
How does check-in work? You may check in from 2.30 pm and there is no need to advise me of your arrival time. You will receive a video showing you where the key box is located and the code to open it.
Do you have a baby cot? YES, and a high chair.
Do you provide all bed linens and towels. YES. The apartment will be ready for you on arrival and all linens are professionally laundered.
Do you provide local information? YES. You will receive a link to my comprehensive digital guide which you can download to your phone. In additon, there's also a wealth of leaflets about local attractions and a house manual in the apartment.
Are there any additional charges? Just one. As everywhere in Italy, there is a small tourist tax to pay of €3 per person (over 11 years of age) per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights.
